Hello SW Community,

I got on my computer and cancelled my reservation. the screen said, "Your reservation has been canelled.  Please keep your RL # in order to reuse the value of your ticket."  I did.   

 

However when I didn't show up for the flight they counted it as a no show.  I called Customer Service and they looked and said I didn't push confirm.  But I did.  It said, "Your reservation has been cancelled."  What more was there to do?   Maybe there was a computer glitch or a connection was lost but Customer Service would't fix my problem.  Just thought I'd let you know.  Southwest isn't always as friendly as it claims.  I think this was their internal problem and I have to pay for it.

You should have received an email with the cancellation details, did that come through?
