Hi Barkleyhendrix,
The final 737-500 flight is set for early September of this year and the final 737-300 flight will be at some point in 2017. I'll miss those birds as they were the workhorses that really helped Southwest Airlines grow in the 80's and beyond! I'm REALLY looking forward to seeing the launch of the 737 MAX 8!

The 737-300's I am asking about are the 8 aircraft, which, according to plane spotters, are not equipped with winglets.
Last year AA retired my favorite 737, the 737-400, for which Piedmont Airlines was the launch customer. The "400" was the next generation version of the "800".

Hi Barkleyhendrix,
We don't have the dates for these flights readily available just yet, but I am working with our operational departments to see if I can find an answer. If we do, I'll come back and post an updated answer!
