In preparation for an upcoming flight, I was becoming familiar with my Chromebook and realized that there isn't an AIRPLANE MODE option. I'm wondering if this will be an issue when I try to connect to the wifi / in flight entertainment. Does anyone have any experience with this? Suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Since you need to leave wifi on, airplane mode (if you had one) would just disable Bluetooth. Manually turning that off will accomplish the same thing.

No need to turn on Airplane Mode if there isn't! 🙂

@TheMiddleSeat Putting my iPhone into airplane mode doesn't disable Bluetooth. If it did, my earbuds and my watch would stop working.

@bwallet Appears to be a difference between Apple and Android. I believe standard behavior on android based devices which would include the OP's Chromebook IF it had airplane mode is for it to disable BT. The only thing that actually matters is disabling data and even that is debatable.
