I have a DVT, and have for a number of years. I'm on medication to keep the situation from getting worse. I wear compression stockings. I know to flex my foot and move my leg a lot in situations where I have to sit for any length of time.
What I don't know is whether needing extra leg room to help facilitate movement while seated constitutes a situation Southwest would allow pre-boarding for, especially to try a get a front or emergency row seat.
Anyone have an idea?
Thanks

Preboarding is exactly what you are looking for. From southwest.com: "Preboarding is available for Customers who have a specific seating need to accommodate their disability"
Preboarders may not sit in an emergency exit row.

As I understand it, mobility is the enemy of DVT.
If I were you, I'd walk to the front or back of the plane occasionally during the flight.
