There's always more to every story.

I totally agree, we don't know the entire story, and if it was just about taking masks off to eat some peanuts or whatever.  What I don't condone is posts that try and lead you to a decision before all the facts are presented.

We have the video.  SW agent refused to answer relevant questions (are customers allowed to remove face masks to eat).  Customer was not belligerent, was respectful, was following standard rules.  Everyone around verified he did nothing wrong.  SW needs to instruct their crew that they cannot kick customers off of flights just because they don't like political statements on the customers clothing.

Shame on Southwest.
If had been anyone other than a Trump supporter, the crew would have never reacted the way it did.  In this error of political correctness where everyone bends over backwards to protect the rights of everyone - this was a clear violation of that tenet. And it was because he had the audacity to be a Trump supporter.
Bravo to all those brave passengers who stood up to do the right thing and voice their opinions AND document the debacle - especially the woman who refused to back down  & made the Germany comparison. ( Shut up & comply. ) Thanks for pointing that out.  Extra kudos to the man who exited with the passenger wrongly accused.

Shame on you Southwest. Airline of LUV, indeed.

I'll call that post what it is:: B.S.

Don't wear your mask -- get booted off the flight. Every airline is doing it. A few weeks ago Delta bragged about kicking 250 people off it's flights

I would like to hear the other side, SWA needs to make a statement instead of silence.

Because right now it looks like racial and political targeting that should require FAA investigation of SWA practices.

We have not yet heard the complete story from the first side.

This is what SW did put out over the incident and it is a total contridiction of what the video showed:

Our reports indicate that a Customer traveling on Flight 2632, with scheduled service from Tampa to Dallas, was asked repeatedly by more than one Employee at different times to wear a face mask. The Customer did not comply with our Crew’s multiple verbal requests — including while boarding the flight before seated. Therefore, the decision was made to return to the gate and re-accommodate him on a later flight to his final destination after receiving assurances he would comply with our face covering policy. We regret the inconvenience the situation created for all involved, but our Crew must uphold the well-being and comfort of all Passengers.

And everything listed in the Southwest release would have happened before the first second of the video.

And your point is....?
