Just flew into one of Southwest's new Denver gates

and I was impressed. The space is roomy and inviting. The seating is ample, and comfortable.

Heck there are even a few benchs/sofas for use.

The space is a huge improvement over the existing gate space.

Oh, there are now a heckofa lot of Southwest gates.

Did you get to check out the new outdoor deck?  It was super rainy last time I was there with a little time to waste so I didn't get to see it.  Yes, 16 gates is a lot and I'm looking forward to lots of additional flight options as Southwest gets more planes.

Nope. My flight was 2.5 hours late so I just wanted to get my rent car and hit the road.

I fly out tomorrow and if my gate is c40 or higher, I'll try to check it out

Speaking of new, have you or anyone else been to SLC lately?  I guess it's been open almost 2 years but I finally had the opportunity to visit last week.  Wow!  So clean and airy with way more food options than before.  The bathrooms even smell good!  Huge improvement for flyers of all airlines in SLC.
