Hi!
Our kids 6 and 7 will be flying for the first time. They are excited but as the date is approaching have become a little nervous. I understand that with Covid many things have changed, but I was wondering if there was a way they could meet the pilot and see the cockpit? If so is there anything I as a parent have to do to make that happen? Any and all recommendations are welcomed. Thanks

I'm unsure of an official request, but if you go up to them after they land, or during a stopover, I'm sure they'll be fine. They let me in once too! I'll note it was pre-Covid, so not sure if that'll change things, but give it a shot!

When you get to the airport, be sure to let the gate agent know of your request. Upon boarding there will be a flight attendant at the front of the plane - right by the door to the cockpit. Make sure that person knows, too.
I'm pretty sure they'll make some kind of arrangement.
I did that as 9 year old -- a very long time ago. It was fun.
