Kindle fire and on board movies

Does anyone know how to download the onboard movies onto my kindle fire?  I can't seem to find a way to get it on my kindle .  Thanks

If you are talking about downloading from southwest airplane's router? Naw, it doesn't work for the most of times. I would suggest that you download from your home computer to kindle.

I normally use my laptop to watch the dvd or download files from my home internet whilist on flight. I have previously had some hassle with in-flight internet and none of this works. Don't know why it does not work at all times.

Do I have to have the Southwest App in order to watch In-flight movies and TV?  I was able to download the Airtime player but my Kindle Fire 10 does not support the Southwest App for some reason.

You should be able to make it work. No you don't need the southwest app.

Open a browser and log on to getconnected.southwest.com. Pick you choice of entertainment, and the Airtime player should work.

Unfortunately, you need the Southwest app for movies and on-demand TV shows. Live TV works via any recent browser. The onboard player isn't needed anymore.

I don't think that is right, chgoflyer. I use a chromebook (great 11 hour battery life) which is absent the SW app, and I have no problem accessing any of the entertainment offerings.

Ok, good to know. I'm only going by what Southwest has posted on their website and printed on the inflight menu cards, and what I've seen reported. Perhaps someone with a Kindle Fire can give us some info based on their experience?

This is not true for watching current movie offerings on SW flights.

To watch the current movies provided by SW, the SW app is required. The SW app is not available on even the newest Fire tablets, or earlier Android tablets.

However, the SW app isn't compatible with even the newest gen of Fire tablets.
