Hello, I have a flight scheduled from Phx to MCO in September. There is a layover in Austin, TX but No Plane Change. With the Covid 19 restrictions, will we be able to stay on board or will we have to deplane in Austin and enter back on to the plane?
Thank you

With the 1 stop no plane change you will stay on the plane. If you arrive in Austin early the flight attendants may allow you to get off to grab a snack or use the restroom in the terminal otherwise you will be on the plane for awhile so bring a snack or 2 with you. The only other reason you would get off in Austin is if they do an aircraft swap or a long delay.

Wondering if they are doing cleaning with the layover, and would have to get off the plane during the layover due to Covid? Do they allow the people that were originally on the plane get back on board before the other people that are boarding in Austin?

Hi @shemont! We have employed enhanced cleaning during every turn with our Ramp and Provisioning Employees. Through Passengers can request that their seating area be cleaned and can choose whether to move to another seat or stand in the aisle while cleaning is taking place.
Thanks for your question!
