Man thrown off flight at BWI for eating Twizzlers

I just saw on WJZ-TV where a man was eating Twizzlers and the flight attendant told him to put on his mask.  The plane was ready to depart and was turned around in order to escort this "criminal" off the plane.  THIS IS INSANE.  HOW LONG ARE WE GOING TO PUT UP WITH THIS NONSENSE?  It is time to RESIST.

Since neither you or I were there we don't know exactly what happened. There's always more to the story and it's doubtful it's as clear cut as the headline leads you to believe.

I read the article. He was told to replace his mask between bites. They made an announcement. I know that they do this as I've heard it many times. I do not care if he was eating Twizzlers or pork rinds. He was clearly told this, and he didn't comply.

The problem is a matter of abuse. Any of us who have flown recently have seen it. People sit, slowly eating something and keep their masks off for a long period of time, probably as an excuse. He found out that he wasn't special, and that the rules apply to him too. The madness is that people think that the rules shouldn't apply to them, and then they raise a stink when the are applied.
