Yesterday, I was on a flight from PHX to SJC and was lucky enough to have one of our flight attendants receive the President's Award from the PHX staff prior to closure of the cabin door. The presentation was brief to allow our on-time departure but I had the chance to congratulate the awardee later during the flight and he was very gracious. He cracked a few lighthearted jokes during our conversation and I could see how much he loves engaging with his passengers. Glad to be able to share in the celebration and witness what I believe is well deserved recognition.
