Something needs to be done. I was four hours late to work on Monday because of staffing issues. All of this is unstainable.
I'm just glad SWA isn't Spirit.

I find no record of a contract between Southwest and the FA union after 2016-2018.
In mid February 2020 the two groups were about to head into mediation. I bet the virus stopped that cold.
So I'd' bet the groups are negotiating again.
A typical union thing is to do something like this during contract negotiations.
edit add: I bet that once the FAs have a new contract that they won't be at the "breaking point" anymore.
