9/11 Fees Question

What happens to the 9/11 Fees if I cancel a flight that was made using Points?

When you cancel a flight booked with points, the points will be re-deposited back into the account they were redeemed from, and you can either request a refund for the fees or hold them as a travel fund for future travel.

If I were you, I would simply request a refund.  If you are sure you will be able to use the funds before they expire, that is a fine option too.  Remember that travel funds can now be tracked in your Rapid Rewards account.

I'm guessing you mean they can be tracked in your RR account.
