A-List Renewal Options

Hello All - 

New here but long time SW customer.  I have a question about A-List renewal.

I am close (3 segments) from maintaining A-List for another year and I really want to make sure I get it as I have a lot of travel coming up next year and it really does make a difference.

I know I can do a quick segment run to knock out a couple of flights.  Is there any other option to get there (especialy for one odd segment)?  Say, buying a flight and not actually going?  That way Southwest gets the money for the ticket but I save time.

Any other options?  Thanks!

They don't let you purchase points to qualify for The Companion Pass I highly doubt they would let you purchase a flight and not take it to qualify for A List.  It does state that a member who flies...

A Member who flies 25 qualifying one-way flight segments booked through Southwest Airlines.

Would be nice if you are able....
