I need 18 Tier Qualifying Points to retain my A status for 2017........ any suggustions on the best way to get the 18 points before the end of the year?

Hi there!

One suggestion would be to take a day trip to somewhere close by like a DAL to HOU or AUS if you lived there like to/from a hub for the cheapest. The best way to find the cheapest dates and places is exploring the low fare calendar on southwest.com 

I did a Round Trip in a day from AUS to ATL for $60 each way back last month.
