Can I designate myself as my companion on my own companion pass?

Does anyone know if I can I designate myself as my companion on my own companion pass?

Could I book a flight for someone with my points and then add myself as my companion using my own companion pass?

Ahhhh, no.

As the (pass holder) paying passenger (points, vouchers, dollars, whatever) you have to fly. You cannot designate someone else to be you.

I would add that you can book yourself with points and then add your companion.

Or if the other person has all the points, they can book your ticket and then you add them as companion.

Do not transfer points, there's a steep percentage to transfer them. The points holder can book tickets for anyone without transferring them to that person.
