Combine Promo from Southwest Credit Card and Chase Sapphire Preferred

Hello!

I was wondering if the current promo for the 50,000 for setting up the Chase Sapphire Preferred Card can be redeemed on my account even if I have already received 60,000 points for setting up a Southwest Rapid Rewards Plus card. I am ultimately trying to get the companion pass. Thank you in advance for sharing your knowledge!

Chase Sapphire Preferred points don't have any connection to the Companion Pass.  Southwest credit cards are the only ones that generate CP qualifying points.
