Converting travel funds to rapid reward points

I read that there will be an option to convert travel funds to Rapid Reward points but have seen nothing since. Anyone have any additional information?

I have been waiting to convert travel funds to points so I can book a flight for my sister. Looking for a date when this conversion option will be available. I wonder if Southwest monitors this blog? Will they respond? I'm anxious to book this flight while there is still availability!  LUV Southwest!!

As of now there is no set date on when the feature will be available. I would keep checking back here for updates as well as on social media.

Unfortunately, it looks like that function is taking an overly long time to implement. I wouldn't count on it's availability anytime soon. 😞
