Credit card application question for current authorized user

Hi. My husband is an authorized user on my southwest premier card. He hasn’t had his own card in 3-4 years. Can he apply for the new offer and get the 80,000 point bonus? Or do I have to remove him as authorized user first for a month? Thanks

He should be able to apply for the credit card himself.

With the 80,000 points offer keep in mind you get 50K after a certain spend and you get the other 30k after spending a higher threshold some people think they just get 80K for spending $3,000 it’s a 2 part offer.

Blake got it on point! Just to note, most of the credit card application questions would go to Chase, not SWA.
