If I open a Southwest credit card, and have the bonus points transferred to my Rapid Rewards account, then close the credit card, will I still be able to use the points?

The only thing it does say is?
"Account must be open and not in default at the time of fulfillment."
You will be charged $69.00 or $99.00 when you open the card so you may want to keep it for a year, then cancel.
