I have about $70 of SW credit---all the vacations I can afford this year are already taken or booked. This $70 expires in Dec. of this year. Can I use it toward anything else other than air travel? Thanks for any info or suggestions!

Assuming you mean travel funds, no, they can only be used for plane tickets by the originally named passenger.
However, it seems that southwest has an unannounced deal and is giving people the option of converting travel funds into vouchers - without the normal $100 fee. Vouchers cab be used by anyone and are good for 6 months from date of issue.
So if you wait til the end of the year to do this, you'll have a bunch of 2023 time to use the voucher.
