Does donation qualifies as Purchases for new Companion Pass credit card?

Just signed up for Chase credit card promotion. Does anyone know if i use credit card to donate to Red Cross or Church, does that qualifies as 'purchases' for the companion pass?

It should.  The only transactions I'm aware of that are not eligible are cash back type transactions where you are withdrawing cash from an ATM, purchasing currency, etc.  Since you are not receiving any of the money from the transaction you should be good to go.

Anything you are actually buying counts. In your case you'd be buying a contribution to some organization.

As said earlier, if it was some type of cash back thing, that would not qualify. That being said, gift card purchases do count as you'd be buying a gift card.

I can confirm that charitable and non-charitable(gofundme) donations count to Companion Pass spend on your CC.
