Gypped out of Rapid Rewards Points by Southwest AND Chase. No response from either CEO

Since October, 2021 I have attempted numerous emails and telephone conversations with both Southwest and Chase bank due to not receiving awarded points. After multiple failed attempts to go up the chain of command, in February 2022 I emailed Bob Jordan Southwest CEO and Jamie Dimon Chase CEO providing supporting documentation to prove my case that each enterprise was blaming the other to handle and resolve the problem.

Today is May 11, 2022 and sadly I have yet to receive a response from either executive or their minions.

So who can help me if the CEO is unresponsive?

Hoping this blog will shake them up and possibly embarrass them to make me whole.

Failing to include any details about your issue isn't helping.  You mentioned Chase so most likely the issue is something to do with credit card points not being posted to your account.  In that case the issue is 99% of the time something Chase would need to address.

That is not correct and I purposely did not provide specific details. Do not make assumptions. Southwest is blaming Chase and Chase is blaming Southwest for for failing to apply earned rewards. The right hand does not know what the left hand is doing. I am seeking assistance on next steps, not looking for your reprimand

Wow, settle down there cowboy.  If you aren't going to provide any specifics then I don't see the point of your post.  You aren't going to shake up anyone or embarrass anyone other than yourself posting like this.  I was merely trying to help point you in the most likely direction.  Have a lovely day

Dear Middle Seat

Kindly describe your role at Southwest and advise how I may reach the correct authority level to explain my case. I find your response arrogant at best.

 not your cowboy

I don't work for Southwest and Southwest does not typically monitor this Community, thus why I say you are not going to get the help you want based on the info you are providing.

If you change your mind and want to get input from others about how best to handle your problem then you'll need to provide more details.  That does not seem to be what you desire based on you lovely, kind tone so we'll all just ride off into the sunset now.  Good luck with your issue and have a lovely day.

Adios cowboy,

“Not receiving awarded points” sounds immediately suspicious. 99% of the time points are not rewarded because the terms and conditions of the offer were not met. I am willing to bet this is what happened with you. What were the terms and conditions of your offer? Did you meet them in the specified timeframe? You don’t have to give a lot of detail, but not knowing the terms and conditions of your offer means that no one can give you any guidance on who is right or wrong in your situation.

Chase Ultimate Reward (Travel) points can take up to two statement cycles to reflect onto your account, and the Travel Specialist on their first day on the floor would have told you that if you called in. Jamie Dimon is a bit busy, and doesn't handle basic level customer concerns inside of one of the myriad of departments JP Morgan / Chase has.

And the above is IF you've met the criteria of the award offer. Seeing as this appears to be an offer via partnership between SWA and Chase, then you'd have to meet the criteria both organizations have set forth.

If you have met the criteria and at least two billing cycles have passed, then you would reach out to either companies escalations department, not the CEO's of the company.

I'm not questioning whether or not your concerns are legitimate, but I AM pointing out that you wouldn't drive east from Boston MA to get to Los Angeles CA. You're driving east and wondering how you ended up in the Boston Harbor. Take the correct route to resolve your issue, this is why routes exist.
