Just bought tickets. SIL now says she will "pay" with her points. How do we do that?

Solution
The way you do that is to first cancel your flight. If you do so with 24 hours of purchase you'll get a refund (assuming you did not use travel funds or a gift card to buy the ticket). If after 24 hours, you'll get a travel fund that expires on 9/7/22.
Then you buy a new ticket with points.
