I just tried and it did not work for me either. It may be a targeted promotion good only for certain travellers.

Go to My Account and scroll down to Promo Codes. Do you see the promo code in your account? That's how you'll know if you're eligible. It's not available to me.

I had no promo codes in my account or the accounts of my husband or son.

Southwest customer service could not help

the offer was FAULTY!

That is why I reached out. 

You had an offer that did not work at all. 

There was no link to book

There was no promo code, anywhere. 

I wouldn’t have gone to all this trouble but I wanted YOU, Southwest, to know there was in issue!

I did not receive this as a special private offer in an email or text, 

It was on the official Southwest website!!

You didn’t even need to log in to see it. 

Every reply was insulting

Like I couldn’t find the promo code on the app under “promo codes’
