I am trying to give my daughter my points to bring my granddaughters for a surprise visit to see their grandpa. She got one ticket bought (after haing to buy some points) and tried to get the 2nd ticket for the other grand daughter but the points have not transfered over yet and the ticket agent says it may take up to 72 hours! Why would one transaction go smoothly and the other have to wait. She is very nervous she will miss a certain flight by having it sold out or the price higher! The charge card was alreay charged so why the delay? And why was there a $45.00 charge for transferring points???

Any member of Rapid Rewards can make a reservation for someone else with their points. You do not have to transfer the points to that person. To me it would only make sense to transfer points to someone when a ticket they want is 17,000 points and they are short 2,000-4,000
