I'm an A-List member & I usually book the latest flight from LAX to LAS but fly standby on an earlier flight if my schedule permits. My question is, will my qualifying flight for my Promotional Companion Pass still count if I fly standby on an early versus taking my original scheduled flight?

In theory yes, as long as the original confirmation number remains the same you should qualify.
