Rapid Rewards Points

I've traveled a few times last year where I have southwest rapid rewards. I was thinking of getting the Southwest credit card. Would my current rewards points transfer over to the new credit card reward points?

Rapid Rewards points earned via a Southwest branded credit card go into your existing Rapid Rewards account (if you have one).

What @TheMiddleSeat @said. Just be certain that when you apply, enter your RR # on the application so that you don’t get a new one with the card.
