Wait time after cancelling SW Chase Reward Card before applying for new SW Chase Card?

I currently have the Chase Rapid Rewards Premier Card, and want to upgrade now to the Priority card for the better perks.  I have had this same Premier card for 4 years so I'm well beyond the 24 month requirement to be eligible to receive the sign-up bonus for a new application, and am not outside the 5/24 Chase rule.

How long do I need to wait to apply for the new Priority card AFTER I've cancelled my Premier card?

I recommend you go to Chase, and read the fine print, (Download or screenshot it too.) The best advise here is still just advice and I would not want to steer you wrong.
