What happened to free drink coupons?

Hello and thanks in advance for any feedback. For years I have received a pack of free drink coupons a couple of times a year but somewhere around Covid this stopped. Is this a policy to reduce alcohol consumption or lower costs? I understand either way but am curious.

I can;t tell you why ti happened, but I can tell you when it happened: About Feruary or March of last year.

They changed the benefits to provide A-Preferred with 2 drinks per flight and you receive those on the boarding pass. I haven't done a paper boarding pass to confirm if they are on that but they are listed on the electronic boarding passes.

Had to get a paper BP for an international flight and coupons were not on the paper one. (they were on my electronic one in the App)

Yeah, for some reason the paper domestic flights show the drinks, but the international ones don't.
