booking 2 tickets of same confirmation number with individual reward points

Hello,

My husband and I both have rapid rewards accounts. I want to buy tickets together on same confirmation number..is it possible to buy them together and use each others points or do I have to purchase the tickets seperately to use points?

One cannot use points from two different RR acounts to buy  tickets on one reservation.

But here's an idea

You buy you and your wife a one way flight with your points to your destination  .and.

then your wife buys both of you a one way return flight home with her points.

Great suggestion for @Ampflyer3195 this should buy the tickets on the same reservation numbers, and use points out of both accounts.

It isn't necessary to use points on yourself only - you can buy anyone a ticket with the points so there isn't a need to transfer them or make extra transactions.
