I saw where the points don't expire but the ones I got from 2017 are not in my profile nor my past flights. Did this change after I lost my points?

Solution
Back in October 2019 (I believe) Southwest changed the policy where points won't expire anymore prior to that points didn't expire as long as you had earning activity once every 24 months so my guess is your points expired right before the policy change.
You can Contact Customer Relations to see if there is anything that can be done to get your points back.
