rewards points stolen!

got an email from SW 

Your Rapid Rewards® account reflects that 48,000 points from your balance were used on 09/25/2021 to redeem for a reward. To verify this activity or view details, log in to your account via

 

Log in and give no details just that they are deducted.  I waited on hold forever to be told reset password, call Rewards on Monday.  They could help but said it looked like the points were used on a gift card?  But i don't see this on my end and cant cancel a transition!

What is frustrating is i just moved 30,000 points over from another chase account to book travel this week!!!   Waiting on hold for hours!

customer service put them back into my account!  yay!

Glad you got your points back! 

 

I would recommend changing your password though for your accounts security or this could happen again by the same bad guy who did it the first time.

Travel rewards fraud is so frustrating. Glad they resolved for you!
