Fares from May 27th on have been high for a while.

When will they lower the fares from May 27th through the summer? I have been watching for a month now, and they are holding steady.

This happens ever “normal” year. Fares from about Labor Day thru the middle of august are high.

fares may come down as southwest sees it has too much capacity out there. 

be patient and keep looking

If you plan on traveling again within a year go ahead and book now then watch the fares and rebook at a lower fare if one appears.  You can then use the resulting travel funds on your future flights.  This way you are guaranteed that the fares won't go any higher than they are now.
