I just got a text that my flight tomorrow was canceled - BWI to Los Angeles.

You probably can fix this yourself.
Log on to southwest.com and see what other flights are available. Southwest will allow you to make a no fee change to any open seat (regardless of cost) between the same two cities as your original flight.
