We booked our flight over the phone through Chase rewards earlier today and the representative that helped us misspelled one of our names when she sent us the confirmation with our ticket information. We tried calling back and the representatives with Chase were unable to edit the first name without cancelling the flight altogether and making us repurchase. We have been trying to get a hold of someone from Southwest. Is there a way to update/edit our name online?

You'll need to speak with someone at Southwest. If the ticket is for a minor you don't need to worry about it being correct.
