New Orleans to San Diego daily direct gone?

Hello, looking to book a trip in April and was doing some price checking over the past few weeks. Planning to purchase today and when I went to go look it seems the Monday direct return flight I was gone. So I went to Tuesday ….. also gone. Looks like they are only doing MSY-SAN direct on Saturday now?

I looked a bit further out and daily direct flights done start again till June.

Did they make an announcement of this or am I missing something?

Sorry to hear of your trouble.

Southwest is running short of planes and crew to support the flight schedule. In response, a few weeks ago SW started the process of adjusting schedules and cancelling flights -- beginning April.

That's likely what you ran into.
