Smart move....You literally can't rely on this JV airline. Their common practice of canceling direct flights and rebooking customers on flights with connections when direct flights are available is mind boggling. They do that because they know customers have to wait 2+ hrs on their Awful customer service line. Easily the worst I've ever had to deal with. NEVER AGAIN!!
