how do I get my points

I use my southwest account to buy several tickets from my girlfriend. She flies from Chicago to Minneapolis every month. I don't see any points accumulated ever since.  Do I need to create an account for her and she will get the points for all the past tickets? or those points should be on my account already?

Each person that flies needs their own RR account.  Only the person flying earns points from flights.  If she did not have an account you can get points retroactively.  More info about all of this here: https://www.southwest.com/faq/rapid-rewards-missing-points

Additionally, you could earn points for buying the flight if you use a Southwest credit card.
