If you bought the ticket with cash/credit card/etc, you could use the funds to COMPLETE TRAVEL by no later than one year from the date you bought your 2020 ticket.

EDIT ADD: unless as Jessica said below, the ticket was cancelled between 3/1/20 and 9/7/20. Then you have until 9/7/22. Jessica thanks for the reminder.

If you used travel funds to buy that ticket, the time frame for use would be less.

FYI, you would be using travel funds that came from the first ticket, and it would not be a ticket exchange.

Shouldn't be a problem, as long as your travel funds are still valid. Depending on when you purchased/cancelled your flight, if you did so between March-Sept 2020 your travel funds should be valid until September 2022, otherwise, they are good from one year when you purchased the flight (not when you intended to fly). As an example, if you purchased your flight in February 2020 and then cancelled it in February 2020, your funds would be valid until February 2021, so they are no longer valid now. If you purchased/cancelled in November, however, they would still be good until November 2021.
