Why are the flights so high from MCI to MDW??? I see that all the flight times are back (pre Covid) but really - it's an hour flight!

Supply and demand. Fewer flights + more demand = higher prices.

I agree the pricing is high. The other issue I don't like is how many of the flights are no longer non-stop. Now I have to spend so many hours in the air I'm wondering if it's cheaper to drive.

I bet United and American can get you to O'Hare -- maybe Frontier or Spirit, too??
Southwest is my preferred airline, but if Southwest can't do what i want, I have no problem flying someone else.
