Could someone please tell me when the actual deadline is for the calendar year? Chase just told me Dec 3rd billing statement .

For everyone the rule is the same: it is the last statement closing date in 2020

Um, I lost 3 months perhaps.

To clarify @dfwskier 's reply - the credit card earning will end with your billing statement date.
You can still earn points from flights, hotels, and other point-earning activity through December 31st.

Is this possible to still earn enough points? Through buying flowers for example? Or something? I myself am only 5,000 points from a CP pass.
But someone linked this helpful info in another thread so it looks like the only way would be if I took a flight? As my statement close date was Dec 10 and I am still off by about 5,000.
