Has anyone seen any firm info from Southwest about when the 737 MAX 7's will begin operating? Last I saw said a bunch were to be delivered in 2022, but nothing further shows in the schedules. Has the FAA even certified the type yet?

This article from March 2021 says next year:
https://www.cnbc.com/2021/03/29/southwest-airlines-adds-100-orders-for-boeing-737-max-jet.html
"Southwest said it would take delivery of the first 30 737 Max 7 planes in 2022. Boeing is working with the Federal Aviation Administration toward certification of the jetliners."

Middle-Seat, thanks for trying , but your quote is 9 months old and basically restates what I said. Apparently nothing more recent on my two questions.

The MAX 7 has not yet been certified by the FAA.

Haven't heard anything about MAX 7s since there has been so much focus on the MAX 8 these past few years.
I did find this from June 2021:
The 737 Max 7 remains in flight testing, with Boeing aiming to begin delivering the type in 2022. The company operated the first Max 10 flight on 18 June and aims to hand over the first of that type in 2023. The Max 8 and Max 9 are in service.
