SoCal to Liberia Costa Rica

Why is it that fares from Southern California are un-configurable to Liberia Costa Rica? Web, mobile and calendar feature all unable to configure fares - $ or points. We know there are tons of flights from SoCal to Houston and tons of flights from Houston to Liberia. Please solve for this. Thx!

Actually there are not tons of flights from HOU to LIR. On weekdays there is one. On Saturdays there are two. I did not check every month from now til August. I checked two months.

Your problem is that the HOU/LIR flights depart either early or mid morning -- early enough that you can't get to HOU early enough to make the connection.
