I wanted to suggest for southwest to add an additional destination to their burbank location. I see they have chicago, dallas, denver, vega, oakland, pheonix, portland, san francisco, san jose, portland, sacrament.. all popular destinations..but nothing to the central coast.. There is an opening in SMX santa maria, ca which is about halfway between santa barbara and san luis obispo. near beaches, wineries, los olivos, solvang, pismo beach, etc.. there is free parking and the airport has a long runway to accomodate bigger planes. I think a santa maria burbank flight for weekend winery getaways would be a poplular addition..and since united pulled out an lax connecting is very needed for connecting flights especially for vandenberg airforce base..although there could be easier connections through burbank as well..just a thought Id like to put out there.
