Chicago is all talk and no action.

I flew into Midway and out of O'Hare over the last 10 days.

Nobody checked anything upon arrival  at Midway.

The city it said it would be  checking to insure that only ticketed passengers would be allowed inside of O'Hare. They did no such thing.

The limitation on "ticketed passengers only" (which includes those assisting them, employees, contractors & vendors, etc.) applies only at night, and is essentially a way for police to remove the homeless, who had been increasingly using the airports as a place to stay overnight. Police aren't checking every person, they are focusing on asking those who appear to be homeless for their flight documents. The only "roadblock" I've seen is with the Blue Line stop at O'Hare, where passengers exiting the trains are being checked after 10pm.
