Application status

Hi friends!

So I applied for a role as a business support specialist and my application went from Received Submission, to i total resume review, and now is in progress…what does this exactly mean? I haven’t gotten an email or interview or even phone screen or anything, so I am really wondering what could be next? I am super anxious, excited and hopeful of becoming a coheart! Hoping someone can help me figure this out, as I can’t stop thinking about it! Thanks 🙂

Hey @noramx3 ,

Yes, that means you are progressing or at least I believe it is. My CSA application had said In Progress before I received the email to set up a phone interview. Perhaps the recruiter just hasn't been able to email you? Make sure you are checking your SPAM/JUNK folders!!!!! Just because one email made it to your inbox, doesn't mean the others will! 😁

Hopefully, I'll be a coheart along with you! I have 2 interviews on Tuesday. One is for CSA over the phone and the other is for Ops Agent and that is virtual. Both spots are out of DEN.

@wacowgirl Thanks so much and I am wishing you the best of luck! I am keeping my fingers crossed. Hopefully we will be Cohearts, as what a great company SWA would be to work for! How are you going to go about if the first interview offers you a position before you are able to conduct the second interview? Are you going to ask them if you can consider it first and let them know you have another interview? Hope you don't mind me asking!

Excellent question @noramx3! I plan on mentioning it for my CSA phone interview as well as my Ops Agent interview. I'm leaning more towards the Ops position as I think I will excel at that. But, I'll take whichever spot SWA will want me in! I'll go ahead with the CSA virtual interview if they want me to continue. 

Please let me know what happens to you!! What airport will you be in?

@wacowgirl Awesome! I hope you get it!! I am sure you will do great! This position from what I saw is remote, but based in Dallas, with occasional travel. Hope we both get the positions we want, and hopefully get to even meet one day! 😄 Keep me updated! I will be cheering you on!!!

Awww @noramx3 that is so sweet of you!!! I had both of my interviews. Passed both 🙂  

I was offered and accepted the position of Ops Agent, got that email yesterday. Depending on checks and such, they are hoping to get me in on 3/1. Received the drug test/fingerprint email today. It's happening oh so fast! 

I told my boss today that I have a contingent offer and he was like darn (but with an mn instead of rn)... lol.. he's happy for me though and excited. He also flies SW so I told him that perhaps I'll be seeing him as he boards a flight. 

Have you heard anything? I have my fingers, toes, eyes crossed for you! I wanna keep in touch with you! I wish they had a messaging way to chat back and forth.
