Hello, I just received a contingent offer of employment. I'm so excited but incredibly nervous. What kind of background check is done, and what kind of questions do you ask former employers for employment history verification?

Sorry, but since most people here are customers, you likely won't get answers to your questions.
I'm a retired HR manager <not at Southwest>. My experience is that most firms won't release a lot of data about past employees. Too much legal liability. Typically
Dates of employment
Rehire eligibility
Maybe job title
Maybe salary
Both of the above are much less likely.
That's abut it.

Hi Kapua79! I just completed all my background checks and waiting for my recruiter coordinator for moving forward with the process, to be honest, the background team are the best! They’re going to communicate with you if anything comes up on your background.
Congratulations on your offer!
Good luck kapua79!
Aloha
