Background check disqualification

Hi everyone, 

I have never gotten a background check through previous employment and was wondering what to expect with the process. What information is required of you to submit and what does the background check entail? Do most people pass as long as they do not have a criminal history or are there other things that could disqualify you? Please provide any and all insight you have!

as long as you have good record you're good to go .. if you have 3 or more traffic violations I think you're disqualified .. that's what I heard from the interviewer ..
