CSA Prep - everything PLUS the kitchen sink, to assure the 80% minimum score!

Some people are procrastinators, but if you're like me, you're a PREcrastinator . That's right, we don't leave anything to the last minute, we prepare waaaaaay beforehand!  My official training start date is 5/16/22 at MCO and I am chomping at the proverbial bit to squeeze in as much info as possible before I begin!

Here is some information I've dug up that you may find helpful -

You need at least an 80% on your test to pass (and continue on)

You will need to pass the SIDA test as well.

The airport code test contains ALL of the airports that SWA currently flies into

The airport code test is not multiple choice. To the best of my understanding,

we'll be shown the City/State and will then have to type in the airport code.

We'll access SWA's LMS system.

I recall my recruiter telling me it could take up to 6-8 weeks after you get your finger printing completed for the background check to come back. Mine took about 2 weeks though. Throwing some positive energy your way so yours comes back earlier than expected as well!

Sorry about that. I just realized that the link is the pdf that pulled up on my system, so of course it wouldn't work for anyone else.  This is where I pulled it up as a PDF, hope it works for you!

I’m in CSS not in airport but you can study military time as first assessment is on military time but it doesn’t count towards 85%. Not in any assessment but good to practice military alphabet..b is for bravo.

HOAH! I was in the Army for 12 years, so it's good to know my knowledge of the 24 hour clock and military phonetic alphabet can be put to use once again!

tip: for time, just add 12 to every hour after 12:59 pm (afternoon). So 1:00 pm would be 1300, 2:00 pm would be 1400, et c.

The alphabet:

A - Alpha

B - Bravo

C - Charlie

D - Delta

E - Echo

F - Foxtrot

G - Gulf/Golf

H - Hotel

I - India

J - Juliet

K - Kilo

L - Lima

M - Mike

N - November

O - Oscar

P - Papa

Q - Quebec

R - Romeo

S - Sierra

T - Tango

U - Uniform

V - Victor

W - Whiskey

X - X-ray

Y - Yankee

Z - Zulu
